I'm Miles Lieder, a drummer and educator from Frederick, MD. I began my drumming journey by starting private lessons at the young age of five. Because of my lengthy background with a variety of drum instructors, I was primed to start teaching my own drum lessons privately during my junior year of high school in 2009. I believe in setting a firm foundation with my students, and I provide customized lesson plans to individually cater to each student's unique needs. Some of these foundations and techniques include rudiments, reading sheet music, timekeeping and "playing to the song".

 

Currently, I record drum tracks for hire and perform with Dale and the ZDubs, KleptoRadio and other established bands in the greater DC area.
